I work with a high end jewelry rental company preparing to launch in a couple of weeks and I've been meaning to saunter in here and gauge thoughts on the following: I know sites such as Adorn and Rent the Runway are sort of covering this market but what we're launching is jewels and timepieces on a whole new level. I've read that jewelry rental is a waste of money but would you feel the same if this was membership based and a portion of your rental fees allowed you points toward a purchase; something you just couldn't part with? You could even rent items until you find something you love. Just to give you an idea of inventory, we are talking Chopard, Judith Ripka, A.Link, Chanel, Breitling, Piguet, etc. I'd love some opinions! :D
