Christy Turlington Burns, the celebrity model-activist, will return to Calvin Klein and be featured in the womens fall global advertising campaign for Calvin Klein Underwear.
The fall Calvin Klein Underwear advertising campaign was photographed by Mario Sorrenti in Vieques, Puerto Rico. This is Turlington Burns first advertising campaign shot by Sorrenti. The campaign is inspired by the brands signature and provocative imagery, and highlights an assortment of Calvin Klein Underwear essentials that represent the sleek, sophisticated aesthetic for which the brand is known.
The media campaign will be comprised of a mix of print, digital and outdoor advertising timed to coincide with September magazine issues.
Turlington Burns has a long-standing relationship with the Calvin Klein brand, beginning with her first runway show for Calvin Klein for the fall 1987 season. In 1988, Irving Penn photographed Turlington Burns for her first Calvin Klein Collection ad campaign. That same year, she became the face of Calvin Kleins scent Eternity. Bruce Weber photographed the fragrances launch campaign.
